Bellingen Shire Council located on the Mid North Coast of NSW halfway between Sydney and Brisbane and just south of Coffs Harbour. The region is renowned for its ecological diversity with State Forests and National Parks covering over 53% of the local government area.

We are looking for an experienced IT Coordinator with strong customer Service experience to join our IT department.

Responsible for ensuring Information Technology (IT) enables and enhances Council's strategic objectives and facilitates all users achieving their operational priorities. This includes supporting and developing systems and staff, and maintaining and developing all internal, hosted and virtualised IT infrastructure alongside Council's outsourced IT support partners to fulfil Council's vision of improving the customer experience through digital transformation.

Coordinating the delivery of high-quality Information Technology (IT) operational and helpdesk support services and to effectively integrate relevant services and technical innovations to provide customer centric support to the community and to Council.

This position will supervise the IT officer with responsibility for supporting Council's computing and telecommunications infrastructure (including hardware, software and networks) and the provision of application support.
